Paleogenomics and Evolutionary Biology
I have a Bsc in Genomic Sciences from the Genomic Sciences undergraduate program at UNAM, specializing in paleogenomic and phylogenetic analysis.
I am currently working in paleogenomic and population genomics projects at the International Laboratory for Human Genome Research (LIIGH-UNAM), as part of the Paleogenomics and Evolutionary Biology group, under the supervision of Dr. Federico Sánchez Quinto.
I am experienced in evolutionary analysis using mammoth mitogenomes (Mammuthus columbi), and have advanced training in Python programming.
I am quite interested in impulse paleogenomics frontiers into aquatic environments projects.
