Undergrad Yael Daniel Hernández González
Evolutionary Systems Biology
I am a Genomic Sciences student at UNAM (ENES Juriquilla) interested in systems biology and the mathematical modeling of gene regulatory networks.
My research explores how nonlinear regulatory dynamics give rise to phenotypic plasticity. I work with minimal mechanistic models to understand how environmental inputs reshape cellular states.
I am also interested in cellular differentiation, transcriptomics, iPSC systems, and computational synthetic biology, particularly in the design and analysis of novel gene circuits from a systems-level perspective.
