I joined Dr. Daniela Robles-Espinoza’s laboratory at LIIGH-UNAM in my second semester of the Genomic Sciences program at UNAM. Since then, I have performed experimental essays in cells and bioinformatics analysis trying to understand how the process of tumorigenesis and metastasis occurs in Cutaneous and Acral Melanoma.
Currently, I am conducting my undergraduate thesis on the computational and functional analysis of melanoma in zebrafish, integrating single-cell transcriptomic data and confocal time-lapse imaging to investigate the invasive cell state and tumor–microenvironment interactions.
