Dr. Christian Molina-Aguilar

Dr. Christian Molina Aguilar is a biologist with a PhD in biomedical sciences from UNAM. He currently works as an academic technician at the Institute. He has experience in laboratory techniques such as, cell culture, handling and care of laboratory mice and rats, PDX models of melanoma, histology, and molecular biology techniques. Dr. Molina also works as a wet lab´s projects manager.
He is interested in animal models of liver diseases such as MASLD, fibrosis, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular cancer, as well as in the study of the epistatic relationship between genes associated with the induction of liver pathologies and genes with protective effects against damage.
