Population and Evolutionary Genomics
Arisaí C. obtained her PhD in Biotechnology from the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM) in Mexico. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Neurobiology of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Her research interests focus on the purification and characterization of peptides and proteins. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the International Laboratory for Human Genome Research (LIIGH-UNAM), in the Population and Evolutionary Genomics group, led by Dr. María C. Ávila Arcos, on the project "Identification of ancient pathogens using paleoproteomics."
