Genome Evolution
David is a Chilean postdoctoral researcher with expertise in the use of optogenetic tools to study and regulate gene expression in yeasts. His current research interests focus on expanding his knowledge in functional genomics, evolution, and bioinformatics, applying these approaches to the study of microorganisms with biotechnological potential. Outside the laboratory, he enjoys cooking, watching anime, reading, and practicing sports, particularly football.
