Fernanda Requena is an undergraduate student in Genomic Sciences interested in understanding the role of introgressed Saccharomyces cerevisiae genes in Saccharomyces paradoxus and their contribution to ethanol resistance. Her current work focuses on developing a program for the detection of introgressions and hybridizations using MetaHiC data.
