Dra. Claudia Gonzaga-Jauregui
Mendelian Genomics and Precision Health
Dr. Gonzaga-Jauregui is the Principal Investigator of the Mendelian Genomics & Precision Health Laboratory and Assistant Professor at the International Laboratory for Human Genome Research (LIIGH) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Her research focuses on family-based analyses of rare and common genetic disorders to identify pathogenic variation and novel genes associated with disease to better understand the molecular architectures and pathophysiology of genetic disorders.

La Dra. Claudia Gonzaga Jáuregui es la investigadora titular del Laboratorio de Genómica Mendeliana y Salud de Precisión del Laboratorio Internacional de Investigación sobre el Genoma Humano (LIIGH) en el Campus Juriquilla de la UNAM. La Dra. Gonzaga Jáuregui ha sido pionera en la implementación y análisis de abordajes genómicos para el estudio de enfermedades genéticas, mediante los cuales ha identificado y publicado más de 20 genes asociados a enfermedades raras no identificadas previamente.
