Elaine Mardis is interested in cancer and the genomics and transcriptomics associated with its development. Her expertise includes the analysis of data from next generation sequencing technologies and the bridging between basic research and clinical practice. She has received the Scripps Translational Research Award and her work on cancer genomics has been featured as one of Discover Magazine’s top science stories.
