Dr. C. Daniela Robles-Espinoza

danielaDaniela obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, UK, in February 2015, under the supervision of Dr. David Adams at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. During her PhD and postdoctoral research, she studied the mechanisms of genetic predisposition to the aggressive skin cancer melanoma, and contributed to the development of tools to interpret and visualize genome sequencing data. At LIIGH, she aims to continue exploring the biological mechanisms behind cancer predisposition in humans, particularly in noncoding DNA. Her expertise comprises the technical and functional analyses of nextgeneration sequencing data.
