El pasado 28 de febrero de 2023 se conmemor\u00f3 el D\u00eda Mundial de las Enfermedades Raras, la Red Mexicana de Enfermedades Raras (ReMexER) y el Laboratorio Internacional de Investigaci\u00f3n sobre el Genoma Humano (LIIGH) de la UNAM se unieron a esta celebraci\u00f3n organizando el 3er Simposio Internacional del D\u00eda de las Enfermedades Raras<\/strong> (#SIDERmx2023). Le\u00e9 m\u00e1s sobre el evento y ve el video completo aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Last August 9th, 2022, Dr. Gonzaga-Jauregui participated in an expert panel discussion on “The Awakening of Rare Diseases in Latin America” organized by the Wilson Center Mexico Institute and the Americas Health Foundation (AHF). Joris Veltman from Newcastle University as an invited speaker in our LIIGH institutional seminar series Horizons in Genomics on May 2nd, 2022. The title of his talk was “A de novo<\/em> paradigm for sporadic genetic disease”.
